Talent & Art Show

Show 1: 9:00–10:00 AM for TK–2nd grade
Show 2: 10:45–11:40 AM for 3rd–5th grades
Families are invited to cheer on our students as they share their creativity, talents, and joy.
This is a fun, supportive celebration of participation, confidence, and self-expression.

Teacher Parties Kids Love
These special class parties are hosted by Bay Farm teachers as a gift of time to support the PTSA.
They take place in May and give kids a fun chance to spend extra time with their friends and teachers doing experiences they’ll be excited to talk about afterward.
Spots are limited.

Come see the magic! Head straight to your child's classroom at 6:00 to explore all the incredible work they've been doing. Our teachers have been busy creating spaces that bring learning to life–you won't want to miss it.
Feel free to wander and peek into other classrooms too–it's a great chance to see what's ahead in the next grade and what's happening across campus.
Note: Ms. Geis's class will host Open House in May when she returns. Families from her class are still warmly invited to come explore other classrooms this week.

Scholastic Book Raffle – Win a Free Book!
We're spreading the book joy! Browse the fair and enter for a chance to win.
Winners will be announced at the next Monday morning ceremony–don't miss your shot!
The Book Fair is open this week in the library during lunch and after school until 4:00 PM (Wednesday until 2:00 PM). You can also stop by during Open House!
We especially need volunteers for Open House. Each volunteer will receive a coupon for 1 free book from the fair.One coupon per volunteer. Come be part of the fun!

Ridwell Plastic Film Collection
Let’s keep plastic film out of the landfill!
Start collecting thin, stretchy plastic film at home now, including ziptop bags, grocery bags, bubble wrap, and other flexible plastic packaging.
Bring your collected plastic film to school on Wednesday, May 6. Ridwell will pick up everything we collect on Friday, May 8.
When 10 families sign up for Ridwell using our Bay Farm link by May 22, the school earns plastic film pickup for all next school year.

Student-Led Climate Action at Bay Farm

A Bay Farm alum is helping lead Youthpower Climate Action, a student-driven effort to support the Make Polluters Pay Climate Superfund.
The group is building support locally and working toward a school board resolution in Alameda.
Join the effort and help show community support.

IEP / 504 Affinity Space Meeting
WED, MAY 6 • 7:00–8:00 PM
Join a relaxed, supportive space for parents and caregivers navigating IEPs and 504 plans, whether you’re new to the process or have years of experience.
Light snacks provided. Drop-ins are always welcome.

Bay Farm Night at the Valkyries
SUN, AUG 2 • 5:30 PM • Chase Center
Join the Bay Farm community for a fun night cheering on the Golden State Valkyries!
Our main sections are 209 and 210, and additional seats have recently been opened up, so there are still plenty of tickets available. Tickets are $40 (including taxes and fees) and are valid for tickets in the specified sections. Tickets must be purchased by July 2.
Commute easy on the Main Street Ferry and enjoy a short walk to the arena.
