Childcare is available through a private Parents’ Night Out at Swings & Wings for kids ages 4–9, so you can enjoy the evening worry-free.

We’re also looking for auction donations from our community.

Be A Part of It

Help Keep Bay Farm PTSA Running

We’re still looking for volunteers for two important financial roles next year: Financial Secretary and Auditor (CPA).

These roles help ensure transparency and keep our programs running smoothly. We’re hoping to confirm candidates ASAP so we can share the slate with the membership.

Student-Led Climate Action at Bay Farm

A Bay Farm alum is helping lead Youthpower Climate Action, a student-driven effort to support the Make Polluters Pay Climate Superfund.

The group is building local support and working to pass a school board resolution in Alameda. This legislation would hold major polluters accountable and fund climate solutions like sustainable infrastructure and clean energy.

Join the effort at the Alameda school board meeting on TUE, APR 28 (5:30–6:30 PM at City Hall).

The Bay Farm Talent & Art Show will take place Friday, May 1. Make plans to attend and support our young artists and performers!

Parents’ Night Out Update

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Parents’ Night Out this year. With your support, these events raised about $1,000 per event for the PTSA.

Our remaining events—My Neighbor Totoro in April and How to Train Your Dragon in May—have been canceled.

We’re now deciding whether and how to continue the program next year. If this is something you’re passionate about, we’d love your help to lead and organize it. It’s a win-win for families and the PTSA.

How to Train Your Dragon
Bay Farm Night at the Valkyries

SUN, AUG 2 • 5:30 PM • Chase Center

Join the Bay Farm community for a fun night cheering on the Golden State Valkyries!

Our main sections are 209 and 210, and additional seats have recently been opened up—so there are still plenty of tickets available. Tickets are $40 (including taxes and fees) and are valid for tickets in the specified sections. Tickets must be purchased by July 2.

Commute easy on the Main Street Ferry and enjoy a short walk to the arena.

Keeping Our Students Safe

Bay Farm bike bus

With the beautiful weather, it’s a great time to walk, bike, or roll to school and put our new infrastructure to good use.

Getting some movement in the morning helps kids get their wiggles out and come to class ready to focus and learn.

If you need to drive, consider parking a little farther away and walking the last few blocks. It helps reduce congestion, keeps our air cleaner, and makes arrival safer for everyone.

When biking, please ride in the correct direction in bike lanes and avoid riding on the sidewalk in front of the school to help keep everyone safe.
