Take Action to Protect School Funding
California schools are facing significant funding shortfalls, and the State PTA warns that funds approved for students may be unlawfully withheld– impacting classrooms and resources.
The California State PTA is calling on families to speak up. Learn more and take a moment to sign and add your voice. It only takes a minute, and it helps ensure our schools receive the funding they are owed.

Ridwell Plastic Film Collection
Let’s keep plastic film out of the landfill!
Start collecting thin, stretchy plastic film at home now, including ziptop bags, grocery bags, bubble wrap, and other flexible plastic packaging.
Bring your collected plastic film to school on Wednesday, May 6. Ridwell will pick up everything we collect on Friday, May 8.
When 10 families sign up for Ridwell using our Bay Farm link by May 22, the school earns plastic film pickup for all next school year.

Drawing On Earth at Open House
Our students truly wowed us with their incredible chalk drawings through the Drawing On Earth program at Open House last week. It was so much fun seeing their creativity come to life all across campus!
A huge thank you to Alameda PTAC , the umbrella organization for all of Alameda's Parent Teacher Associations, for their generous $250 grant that helped make this activity possible for our students.
