Good news! We now have three photographers, which means more families can join our photo fundraiser. Sessions are free to book, take about 30 minutes, and there’s no obligation to purchase. Love your photos? Buy your favorites, and your purchase supports Bay Farm PTSA.

More than 25 students are already helping with Squirt’s Safety Patrol, and they’re doing a fantastic job! As we get used to our new arrival routines, we’ve put everything families need to know in one place.

Please share it with anyone who regularly brings your child to school!

Please never stop at a red curb, even for a minute. The red curb near Tillman Park keeps sightlines clear so drivers can see children crossing. Blocking it can mean a driver doesn’t see a child until it’s too late.

The white loading zone fits only about 3 cars, so if it’s full, please park in the neighborhood and walk.

Please avoid U-turns on Kofman and Aughinbaugh. Even when a U-turn is legal, it creates an unexpected vehicle movement in an area full of kids walking, biking, and crossing the street. Turn onto a side street and return to the school instead.

Our Friday morning Rajio Taiso will get moving once our new sound system is installed. Woot woot! In the meantime, feel free to practice at home! Learn the moves, get a good stretch in, and arrive ready when we kick things off at school. I promise, your back will thank you.

Culture can be meaningful, joyful, complicated, and sometimes hard to define. Maybe your child has a strong sense of their culture — or maybe they're not even sure they have one. That's worth exploring too! Art gives kids a way to ask questions, explore what shapes them, and understand themselves a little better, all while creating something of their own.

Have a budding artist, composer, dancer, writer, photographer, or filmmaker? Start the conversation now: what does culture mean to them? Then see where their creativity takes them.
