I hope this committee can create a Mission and Community that is Inclusive and equitable. We hope to have a community in which all students and families feel a sense of belonging. Let us create opportunities to respectfully understand differences amongst us. I hope we can allow spaces for our children to celebrate their identities, be proud of who they are and have courageous conversations.

3) Showcase a country at the Around the World Heritage Night

The DEI Lead builds a school community where every student and family feels a sense of belonging, partnering with the PTSA board to weave inclusivity into school life. This role leads the DEI Committee's activities and conversations throughout the year and, in collaboration with the Events Committee, organizes Heritage Night: Passport Around the World, a community celebration of the cultures that make up Bay Farm.
