Hello Bay Farm families,
We are reaching out on behalf of our neighbors to the North to ask for your help. As you know many people have lost their houses and livelihoods this week to devastating firestorms.
The evacuation centers, that are working tirelessly to help the victims, are in need of many items such as:
- N95 Masks
- large tote bags & bins with lids
- pet essentials
- diapers, formula, baby food and other baby essentials
- water & non-perishable foods
- pillows, blankets, air mattresses
- new underwear and socks
- like-new clothes
- toiletries & feminine hygiene products
- adult diapers
- gift cards
- books and art supplies for kids stuck at the shelters
A few kind Alamedans are organizing and bringing a U-haul truck of supplies up to people who have been evacuated and are staying at shelters. They are gathering donations on Park Street at "The Local", (formerly Blue Danube) DAILY from 6am to 8pm.
Many of our own teachers have offered to collect and transport donations from students to "The Local" including Mrs. Otieku (Room P9) and Mrs. Fong (Room 204).
Please consider contributing what you can and drop off donated items either at The Local or at our school (RM P9 or 204)
If you have any questions please email Claire Sue (email@example.com)
