I am reaching out to you all today in response to many questions and concerns surrounding our PTSA auction in light of COVID-19 (coronavirus).
At this point in time we are still planning on holding the event. We will be taking many precautionary steps prior to the event including disinfecting all door handles, hand rails, etc. at the Elks Lodge ourselves in addition to the regular cleaning provided by the Elks.
We do ask that if you have been running a fever on Thurs or Fri March 19th and 20th, that you stay home. No one should attend the gala without being fever-free for a minimum of 24 hours. We rely on you, as community members, to ensure the safety of the other healthy people at the gala. If you find yourself in this regrettable situation, you may either request a donation receipt from the PTSA for the full amount of your ticket price or you may contact the auction committee at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your options.
We will keep everyone updated if the event has to be cancelled. Our communities’ health and safety is our top priority.
