Help make Alameda a better place to walk and bike! The City is updating its Pedestrian and Bicycle Plans as one Active Transportation Plan. We are launching this year-long effort with an Open House on Thursday, November 7, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Alameda Free Library, 1550 Oak Street. Come tell us what walking and biking are like today, and how we can make it safer and more comfortable for people of all ages and abilities to walk and bike. We’ll have light refreshments and fun activities for kids. Follow the project, find more opportunities for input and sign up for updates at www.ActiveAlameda.org.
Attached is our flyer. Please help us spread the word by forwarding this email and posting on social media.
