Neighbors for Racial Justice event Tuesday December 10th
Fri, Dec 6 1:16pm
I want to share a few updates from the Diversity and Inclusion Committee

This Tuesday December 10th at 6:30pm Edison Elementary school is hosting a presentation by Neighbors for Racial Justice:

Confronting Racist Profiling: Creating Safer, More Welcoming Neighborhoods for All.
The event will be from 6:30-7:30pm in the Edison MPR room and childcare will be provided.  Please see attached flyer for more information.

Our first Soul Shoppe assembly at Bay Farm will be January 24th (rescheduled from October).  Soul Shoppe works with children to develop empathy, compassion, and connection, eliminating bullying at the roots, and helps teach conflict resolution skills to build a community of kindness and safety.

February is Black History Month.  If you have ideas about ways in which we can celebrate at Bay Farm and/or want to be involved in planning, please let me know.

We're working on creating an inclusive holiday/event calendar.  Please let me know if you're interested in helping or want to suggest important holidays/events to be included in the calendar.
