Puttin’ On the Ritz Gala Update

Dear Bay Farm Community,

I’d like to share this update with you about our Online Auction and Gala event.  Due to recommendations from Alameda County, AUSD and regional & county offices, we will only be having an Online-Only Auction this year.

Your support is more important than ever before!

We feel so grateful to be part of a community that always rises above the challenge, and I expect this situation to be no different.  Let’s all PLEASE do our part to make sure this fundraiser is as successful as it has been in past years- these funds are critical to our success and they help us to provide Bay Farm students with so many extra programs and teachers, and to help create the nurturing school environment we all love.


What you can do…

Online Auction- will continue as an Online Auction and we invite you to share this link with family and friends who may enjoy bidding on items to support our school (online auction ends 3/15 at 10pm):  


All items will remain available for you to bid on with the exception of the Teacher Outings.  Most Hosted Parties will also be available.

Virtual Live Auction- This year the Auction Committee will be bringing “Puttin’ On the Ritz” to you- we are asking all our families and friends to log online on Saturday, March 21, from 5:00-9:00pm for our online virtual event!  You will be able to view and participate in our “Virtual Live Auction” from the comfort of your own home.  All the great fundraising activities that are popular- Live Auction, Fund-a-Need and more will be available online and to everyone…even if you didn’t buy an auction ticket! We will share more information with you next week.

Please check your email and our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/bayfarmptsa/ regularly from now until March 21st for more information about what’s in store for our virtual event!  And, don’t forget to bid on our online auction before bids close on March 15th at 10pm.  


If you purchased a ticket for our Puttin’ On the Ritz Gala, we hope you will consider it a donation to Bay Farm School so it can be counted toward our fundraising goal.  We will be providing donation receipts so that you can claim a tax deduction.  If you would prefer a refund, please contact fundraising@bayfarmptsa.org no later than March 15th.
