Reading Dates: November 20th to December 3rd.
Donation Dates: NOW through December 3rd
Students have already started collecting their sponsorships/donations!
Your students should have received their Read-A-Thon packets last week. If not, there are some available on the PTSA shelf in the school office or you can download the materials from the PTSA website. http://bayfarmptsa.org/fundraising/read-a-thon/

How it works:
1) TRACK READING TIME -Read! Read! Read! Students write down how many minutes they read each day in increments on their reading log. Parents and guardians may help students with this task. Try to read every day for two weeks. All reading inside/outside of school counts, whether you read or someone reads to you.
2) SECURE SPONSORS - Students share their reading goal with family, and friends, to ask for a flat donation to support their efforts! Students should record all donations whether check, cash, or an online donation in their donation log. Checks should be made payable to “Bay Farm PTSA”. Please include reader’s names, grade and class in the check memo.

3) TURN IN THE DONATIONS, DONATION LOG & READING LOG - Add up your donations & minutes and put the totals on each log. Place donations, donation log and reading log into the provided envelope. Write your name & classroom on the envelope. Parents/Guardians should verify the totals. All donations, reading logs and donation logs need to be turned in to the students’ teacher on the morning of Wednesday, December 4th.
