You still have time to make your donations to the Fall Fundraiser but I am sure you have questions. See below for a few FAQs that are important to answer.
What does my donation go?
In a typical year, the Fall Fundraiser donations go toward many programs- music classes for all levels, field trips, extra days of the librarian, art teacher for all students, family movie night, family valentine's dance, staff appreciation, snow days, Halloween carnival, 4th-grade play, school garden, STEAM enrichment, online enrichment programs such as IXL, Epic, Raz Kids, ST Math, etc. This year, the funds will go toward supporting students and staff with online learning until we can safely return to campus.
Is there an opportunity for my company or corporation to donate?
Our Corporate donation category is a great opportunity to show your school support while getting your company's name out into our generous community. In addition to lots of fun Bay Park Elementary SWAG, your company's logo and a banner will be on display on Erie Street in the 3-minute zone for weeks for all to see.
Is my donation a tax write off?
Yes. All donations can be used as a tax write off as a donation toward a non-profit. At the conclusion of the fundraiser, a letter will be given to each donator with our tax id number and your donation amount for your records.
Can donations be matched by my employer?
Yes! Many companies have "matching donation" programs, which doubles your donation amount! Please check with your employer-we are happy to sign off on any forms your company may need to match your donation.
Are there any incentives for classes with the most participation?
The class with the most families who donate (no matter the amount) will earn more classroom funds for their teacher to spend on your student!
How can I donate?
Konstella is open 24/7 for your online donation. It's an easy couple of clicks to donate this way by credit card. We will also have ONE MORE chance to donate your cash or check.
Costumes, Cash (or check), and Kona
On Friday, October 16th, from 4:00pm-6:00pm, the Fall Fundraising Committee will be at Western Hills Park for your in-person donations. Any donation will receive tickets for FREE Kona Ice from the Kona Ice truck. Please use this as a chance to wear your Halloween costume if you'd like, as well as a safe way to see some friends and let off some end-of-the-week steam. Look for our BPE PTA table to come to make your donation and receive your Kona ticket(s). Cash AND Checks are welcomed and appreciated!
