Book Fair - December 9-13

Our annual Book Fair starts tomorrow! We're open all week, December 9 -13, in the school library. Students will be visiting the Fair during class time with their teachers as well as free time during recess and lunch. Parents, come by the library to browse our amazing selection of books, for all reading levels. 55% of all your purchases go back to Bayside to add more books to our Library!

NEW this year from Scholastic .... eWallet! Give your student a secure, cash-free way to shop the fair. There is no charge to set up an eWallet and it is entirely optional. Parents simply create an account and authorize a spending limit on their credit card. Bingo Literacy Night Planning Meeting

The kick-off planning meeting for K-5 Bingo Literacy Night is this Wednesday, December 11 at 3:30pm in the Staff Lounge. Join us to help plan and organize this awesome event! Please attend if you'd like to help out in any way. Save the Date for our K-5 Bingo Literacy Night which is scheduled for Friday, February 7th!

Garden Club Volunteer Opportunity

Sunday, December 15th from 9am - Noon

Please join the Bayside Garden Club in continuing its beautification efforts! We will continue to clean around campus, prep soil, and plant bulbs (yay Springtime flowers) to help beautify Bayside while also boosting school and community pride. Meet in the front of the Bayside office, 2025 Kehoe Ave, San Mateo.

Treat Your Seat! 

Thank for donating to our Seat Booster Campaign!  Although we fell short of our goal, we are pleased to report that we raised $2,030 for new folding chairs. Upon hearing the news John Cosmos, our principal was energized: "It’s so exciting to see the commitment by our families to Bayside’s campus. The donations to our Seat Booster Campaign will help us upgrade our facilities in an important way. We are now beautifying our campus both inside and out."

Holiday Cookie Extravaganza for Bayside Staff

Give from your heart...homemade items are the best!  Please drop off baked goods in the office labeled Holiday Cookie Extravaganza.  Items can be dropped off until 10:30am on Thursday, December 19th. Please indicate what your item is and if it contains nuts.  Items can be brought in a baking dish to be cut or individually wrapped. Please label your baking dish if you would like returned.  In addition to baked goods, help setting up/clean up as well as holiday decorations are much appreciated!
