2020 FAB Lab Kickoff Meeting - Dec 3rd
Join us on December 3, 2019, at 8:30 AM (note change in start time) for the first FAB Lab planning meeting. FAB Lab is Bayside Academy's award winning mini-Maker Faire scheduled for March 27th.
What does the Planning Committee do? The team will plan enrichment activities for the event, recruit corporate, private sector, nonprofit, educational vendors and spark creative and innovative ideas
Who should join the committee? Any K-8 parent who wants to be a part of a fun, innovative event!
Parent Ed Event - Dec 5th
Please join us on Thursday, December 5th, at 8:15am in the Staff Lounge for a Parent Education event about "Building a Reading Life", presented by Ms. Erin Felix, Bayside's literacy & language coach. Come learn strategies to support readers of all levels, hear the latest research on supporting a lifetime love of reading, and discuss how to encourage struggling, reluctant, and advanced readers. Coffee and donuts will be served, and Spanish translation will be available.

Bayside Book Fair - December 9-13
Bayside's annual Scholastic Book Fair is coming soon during the week of December 9th -13th in the school library. The Book Fair will be open the entire school day, including K-5th recess and K-8th lunch free time periods, and after-school. Parents, come by the library at dropoff or pickup time to browse our amazing selection of books, for all reading levels, preschool to adult. 55% of all your purchases go back to Bayside to purchase more books for our Library!
