This year the Bee Cave Elementary PTO is proud to partner with the Lake Travis Education Foundation (LTEF) on a district-wide effort that will benefit every student—not just at BCE, but across all of Lake Travis ISD.

Why This Matters District-Wide

Texas’ school finance system sends a large share of our local tax dollars back to the state through recapture, leaving less for our classrooms. Your donations to LTEF stay 100% local and are not subject to recapture, so every dollar you give directly supports our students, teachers, and campuses—right here in our community.

This partnership goes beyond Bee Cave—it strengthens every school in the district, helping all of our kids grow and learn with the same high-quality resources and experiences.

LTEF has expanded its mission to:

• Fund Critical Staff Positions – ensuring that Lake Travis ISD can retain and support the educators and staff who make exceptional learning possible.

• Create Student Enrichment Experiences – bringing the excitement of a field trip directly onto every campus with interactive, hands-on days featuring science demos, cultural presenters, art & music workshops, and other immersive activities.

These experiences:

• Engage & Inspire: Students don’t just watch—they participate, create, and explore.

• Break Barriers: On-campus events remove the cost and transportation obstacles that keep some children from traditional field trips.

• Build Equity: Every LTISD student, regardless of their school or family resources, can share in these unforgettable learning moments.
