📣 ANNOUNCEMENTS
🔹YEARBOOK EARLY BIRD PRESALE
Preorder your 2025-2026 yearbook now through January 31st and lock in early-bird pricing: $30 for a softcover or $50 for a hardcover. For an extra cost, you can also add personalized pages to the back of your child's book. After purchasing a personalized yearbook, you have until Thursday, April 16th to complete your page customization.
🔹YEARBOOK PHOTOS
We are looking for more Halloween Parade and Walkathon photos. Photos from you are a great way to get featured in the yearbook. Upload 5-7 of your best photos. (We're looking for quality over quantity.) After your photos upload, you will see a dropdown menu for the Walkathon or Halloween Parade. In addition, there will be a place to write in the grades of the students in your photos. Please Note: Not all photos submitted will make it into the yearbook. Please use this link to upload photos for the yearbook.
The first ever Booksin Maker’s Faire will take place in the Booksin cafeteria this Friday, November 21st from 4:00-6:00pm. Booksin students will show off their creativity, practice entrepreneurial skills, and learn about money management in a supportive environment by running their own booth and selling items to students and families in our school community. This is a cash event, please plan to bring small change, all items will range from $1-$10 and students will keep their own profits.
This event is free to attend and participate but we cannot run it without the help of volunteers! Parent volunteers are needed for set up, clean up, concessions etc. Please sign up here to help here so we can continue to offer these fun experiences for our students!

🔹SECOND HARVEST FOOD DRIVE
1 in 6 of our Silicon Valley neighbors rely on Second Harvest for food. Booksin families are helping support their work, and every dollar makes a difference. We’ve set up a fundraising page to help provide meals to local families in need. Participation is completely optional, and contributions will be accepted through November 30th. You can learn more and donate here.

🔹HICKLEBEE’S BOOK FAIR
Booksin is partnering with Hicklebee’s Bookstore again this year to transform our library into a mini bookstore. The book fair will run from Monday, December 1st through Friday, December 5th (after school hours vary by day so please refer to the flyer below for exact times). Students, families, and friends can buy a wide variety of books and small gifts for kids. Books make great gifts for all ages, so come do your holiday shopping early at the book fair!
The Book Fair can't happen without volunteers! Volunteer shifts are 1-2 hours and include ringing up purchases at the cash register, monitoring lines, and supervising exits to manage traffic flow. Please sign up HERE if you’re able to help. If you have any questions, please contact Michelle Pilling at bookfair@mybesca.com
