📣 ANNOUNCEMENTS
🔹MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL RECAP
The annual Multicultural Festival was a huge success! Students and families had so much fun learning about the different cultures represented in our school community. Our presenters created beautiful displays, served up tasty snacks, and shared about languages, games, and cultural activities. Thank you to all the volunteers for all your hard work and a special shoutout to Keara Simonetti and Kelly Broder for organizing such a memorable event!
🔹YEARBOOK NEEDS MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL PHOTOS
We are looking for your photos from the Multicultural Festival. Click here to UPLOAD. Upload 3-5 of your best photos to be considered for the yearbook. For general yearbook questions, please use this link. If you still have questions, please email Karen Wong at yearbook@mybesca.com.
🔹QUILTERS NEEDED FOR WALKATHON T-SHIRT QUILT
We are looking for volunteers with quilting experience to create a quilt from past Walkathons shirts. The finished quilt will be included in our exciting Booksin Bash live auction on Friday, April 24th! If you’re interested in taking on this project, please reach out to Katie Prescott at spiritwear@mybesca.
🔹BESCA IS LOOKING FOR A VP OF FUNDRAISING
Do you want to be more involved with our school but can't be on campus/need a role you can do outside of school or work hours? Do you have project management skills or like coordinating projects? The VP of Fundraising is a great way to contribute behind-the-scenes (and on your time) to ensure the programs BESCA funds are available to our kids. Programs include Garden, Art, Music, Field Trips and more! Elections are coming up and we need a parent for the role of VP of Fundraising for 2026-2027!
The VP of Fundraising coordinates and supports BESCA's fundraising efforts by working closely with the President, VP of Events, and Walkathon Chair(s) to maintain organization across our fundraising events. Key responsibilities include supporting the WAT auction lead, sponsorship lead, and event leads to track fundraising progress (with already established spreadsheets), ensure alignment toward established goals, promoting and publicizing fundraisers, and researching new fundraising opportunities.
No previous experience necessary! Elections take place at our next BESCA General Membership meeting on Friday, April 24. Once elected, shadowing/transition starts immediately as we set the fundraising requirements for next year's programs and you can hit the ground running for the new school year. Interested in learning more? Send an email to our VP of Volunteers, Kayla Monk at volunteers@mybesca.com
🔹WILLOW STREET ALL DAY DINING FUNDRAISER

🔹LAST CALL FOR SEE'S CANDY!
This is the final week of BESCA’s See’s Candy spring fundraiser, running through this Friday, March 20. Similar to our Dining Night Outs, this is an optional way to support our school while enjoying some delicious treats. When you purchase See’s Candy through through this link, a portion of the sale comes back to Booksin (BESCA earns about 20% of the purchase price, depending on the item). Orders are placed online, and See’s ships the treats directly to the buyer’s doorstep. You can also share the link with family and friends anywhere in the U.S., so supporters near and far can participate. Thank you for considering this sweet way to support Booksin!
