📢ANNOUNCEMENTS
2025-2026 VP OF FUNDRAISING NEEDED!
Does your child enjoy programs like Art@BESCA, Garden, Music, Field trips, Project Cornerstone, or any of our school-wide social events? These initiatives are made possible each year because of BESCA's fundraising initiatives and the support of our donors! In order to keep things running smoothly into next year, we are in great need of a parent to step up and run for the role of VP of Fundraising.
The VP of Fundraising plays a crucial role in coordinating and supporting BESCA's fundraising efforts, ensuring that all initiatives run smoothly and efficiently. This position works closely with the President, VP of Events, and Walkathon Chair(s) to maintain organization and momentum throughout the year. Key responsibilities include supporting the WAT auction, sponsorship, and fundraising teams, tracking fundraising progress and goals, promoting and publicizing fundraisers via flyers and on the website, and researching new fundraising opportunities.
No previous experience necessary! This is a behind-the-scenes position that requires little in-person time and can be done at home. It is critical that BESCA has someone in place for the new school year so we don't lose fundraising momentum. Elections take place at our next BESCA General Membership meeting on April 1, 2025. Click here to nominate someone (or yourself!). Submitting this form simply expresses interest—it does not commit you to running if you decide it’s not the right fit.
ALL DAY DINING DINING OUT FUNDRAISER AT WATER TOWER KITCHEN
Our next all day dining fundraiser is this week on Wednesday, March 19, at Water Tower Kitchen, located at 201 Orchard City Drive, Campbell. Gather your local family and friends and enjoy some delicious food, all the while supporting Booksin. Mention BOOKSIN and show the following flyer (digital or printed) when you dine-in or take-out, and Water Tower Kitchen will donate 20% of the cost of your meal back to BESCA!
LOTS OF SOCKS DAY SPIRIT DAY
World Down Syndrome Day signifies the triplication of the 21st chromosome, which causes Down Syndrome. Each year, the #lotsofsocks campaign encourages people all over the world to wear brightly colored socks to bring attention to the day and help improve the lives of people with Down Syndrome. We encourage Booksin students to wear lots of socks (or 3 socks) on Friday, March 21st to honor World Down Syndrome Day.
GET YOUR BOOKSIN BASH TICKETS
The Booksin Bash is an adults-only evening event for all parents, staff, and supporters of Booksin. Tickets include cocktails/mocktails, heavy appetizers, a live auction, and DJ dancing. The event will be held at the historic San Jose Women’s Club in downtown SJ on Friday, March 28th from 6:00pm-11:00pm. Tickets are $125 and can be purchased here.

They are offering a special Booksin-only kids night out event from 5:30pm-9:30pm for $50 a child and will even be giving a percentage of the earnings back to BESCA! Register your child here.
