GENERAL BESCA MEETING
Only two General BESCA Meetings remain this school year. Join us virtually on Tuesday, April 1st, at 7:00 PM using this link to hear key updates on our plans for the remainder of the year. Your participation is especially important this month as we will be holding our annual Board Vote for the 2025-2026 school year. We will be voting for a new VP of Technology and VP of Fundraising. Come join the meeting, hear from our candidates, and cast your vote! All families are encouraged to attend.
PRINCIPAL’S COFFEE
Join Ms. Tan at this month's Principal's Coffee this Friday, April 4, at 8:30am. As the school year winds down, this is the perfect time to receive updates from Ms. Tan about everything that is happening at Booksin. Please use this link to join the meeting!
ALL DAY DINING FUNDRAISER AT KIRK’S STEAKBURGERS
Our next all day dining fundraiser is this week on Tuesday, April 1st, from 11am-9pm, at Kirk’s Steakburgers, located at 2509 South Bascom Avenue, Campbell. Take some time off cooking, and gather your local family and friends for a mouthwatering meal. Mention BOOKSIN and show the following flyer (digital or printed) when you dine-in or take-out, and Kirk’s Steakburgers will donate 20% of the cost of your meal back to BESCA!
Each year, Allen at Steinbeck Elementary hosts a clothing drive to support families in need within the SJUSD community. This year, Booksin is collecting gently used clothing and shoes to contribute to their drive. Donation bins will be available near the Booksin main office on Thursday & Friday, April 3-4, and Monday & Tuesday, April 14-15. This is a great opportunity to do some spring cleaning while helping local families in need. Thank you for your support!

BOOKSIN BASH
The Booksin Bash was a big hit! Thank you to everyone who attended this special evening - whether you were there to bid, connect with other parents, or just enjoy a great night out, your presence meant a lot. A very special thank you to our incredible Booksin Bash Lead, Kelly Broder, and the dedicated Bash Committee: Nancy Crawford, Natalie Mathison, Kendra Penhallegon, and Keara Simonetti. Their countless hours of planning and hard work made this event seamless and unforgettable.

WILLY WONKA JR.
Bravo to the cast and crew of Willy Wonka Jr.! Over the course of six incredible performances, two talented casts brought this magical story to life—both in school shows for students and evening shows for family and friends. A huge thank you to the show's amazing director, Hilary Stevens, and staff lead, Mrs. Jones, as well as the countless parent volunteers who made this production possible. We also want to recognize the hard work and dedication of the very talented 3rd-5th grade performers—your performances were truly outstanding! We can’t wait to see what’s in store for next year’s theater season!

JAMBA JUICE SCHOOL SPONSORSHIP CONTEST
Jamba Juice is sponsoring a contest between several local schools. From March 17th through June 17th, every purchase at Jamba Juice (exclusively at the 1570 Bascom Avenue location) earns 1 token for Booksin. The school with the most tokens wins $500! How to participate: Each time you visit Jamba Juice to order your favorite smoothie or snack, tell them you are with Booksin to make sure our school gets credit. Share this with friends and family- every sip counts!
WALKATHON SPONSORS
We’d like to take this opportunity to appreciate each of Booksin’s 2024-2025 Walkathon Sponsors. This week, we’d like to thank our Gold Sponsor:
