🔹EARTH DAY PLANT SALE
It’s time for Booksin's annual Earth Day Plant Sale! Join us in the Booksin garden after school on Wednesday, April 22nd, from 2:10-4:00pm and stock up on vegetable plants for your own garden. While making your selections, enjoy homemade lemonade and delicious baked goods, also available for purchase. All proceeds will be used for improving the Booksin Garden. We can’t wait to see you there!
🔹BESCA GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
Please join us this Friday, April 24th, at 8:20am, in the cafeteria for our next General Membership Meeting. At this meeting, we will vote in next year’s BESCA Board. If you are unable to make the meeting in person, use this link to join us on Webex. We look forward to seeing you on Friday!
🔹LAST CALL FOR BOOKSIN BASH TICKETS!
Online sales close on Thursday so head over to the BESCA shop and get your tickets! Join us this Friday, April 24th from 6-11pm for a cocktail/mocktail party with a live auction, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and dancing. This is an adults-only social event for the Booksin community - parents, staff, alumni, and friends. The event will be held at the San Jose Women’s Club, a beautiful historic 1920’s Spanish Revival building in the heart of Downtown San Jose. If you like to dress for a theme, we encourage you to embrace the Wes Anderson aesthetic. We can't wait to celebrate with you! 
🔹WATER TOWER KITCHEN DINING FUNDRAISER
Water Tower Kitchen is our next all day dining fundraiser! On Wednesday, April 29th, visit Water Tower Kitchen at 201 Orchard City Drive, mention Booksin/show the following flyer, and Water Tower Kitchen will donate 20% of your purchase back to Booksin!
🔹SJ GIANTS FAMILY BASEBALL NIGHT
On Friday, May 8th at 7pm, the San Jose Giants are hosting Booksin families for family baseball night! Join your friends (and Louie🐾) for an exciting night at the ballpark, complete with games between innings, a 7th inning stretch sing-a-long, and fireworks after the game. Tickets are only $15 each (including processing fees) and available here or using the QR Code on the flyer. Use the code BOOKSIN26 when buying your tickets, a portion of the ticket sales will be donated back to Booksin. We look forward to seeing you there!
🔹ART@BOOKSIN STUDENT ART SHOW
It's been another incredible year for Art@Booksin! During Open House on Tuesday, May 12th, the Student Art Show will be held in the cafeteria from 5:30-7:30pm. The Art Show is a fantastic evening where we celebrate our students' creativity and showcase their art. The cafeteria will be transformed into a gallery with an art piece from every student on display - that's over 700 works of art representing 50 unique lessons! The success of the Art@Booksin program is made possible thanks to all of our dedicated volunteer Art Docents. Monthly lessons in 2D and 3D art are led by parent volunteers. You'll be amazed at what the students have learned and created this year!
