LAST BESCA GENERAL MEETING FOR THIS SCHOOL YEAR
Our last BESCA General Meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 20th at 7:00 PM. YEARBOOK INFO
Yearbook Distribution
Yearbooks will be distributed to classrooms during the last week of school. Every yearbook has been labeled specifically for each student who pre-ordered a book. If you have any questions, email Karen Wong at yearbook@mybesca.com.

Yearbook Shadow Needed for 2025-2026
Are you someone who loves the yearbook, is highly organized, and enjoys design? Our current Yearbook Lead has one more year at Booksin and we are looking for someone to shadow them next year in order to learn the ins and outs before taking over the role for the 2026-2027 school year. No professional design experience needed, just a desire to learn, strong organizational skills, and an eye for laying out images. FAMILY FUN NIGHT RECAP
Family Fun Night was the perfect way to wrap up an awesome school year at Booksin! The incredible talent show, various games and activities, delicious food, and the ever popular cake walk, all made for an evening to remember!
BESCA would like to thank the countless volunteers who helped to make Family Fun Night an absolute success. A special thanks to our FFN leads Angela To and Kelly Broder for their hours upon hours of planning so the night went off without a hitch. It is because of our amazingly supportive community at Booksin that we are able to make these memories year after year!


PRINCIPAL FOR A DAY WINNER
Last Thursday, 5th grade student Kai served as Booksin’s "Principal for a Day" after his parents won the opportunity at the Booksin Bash live auction, making the day extra fun with bonus recess and a surprise pizza party for one lucky class! 


VOLUNTEER CLEARANCE FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR                       As we wrap up the current school year, a quick reminder that the annual SJUSD volunteer clearance application for the 2025–2026 school year will open in mid-July. Applications submitted before then apply to the 2024-2025 school year only. We truly appreciate your enthusiasm and look forward to welcoming our volunteers for the new school year soon!

JAMBA JUICE CONTEST
 Don't forget that Jamba Juice is sponsoring a contest between several local schools. From March 17th through June 17th, every purchase at Jamba Juice (exclusively at the 1570 Bascom Avenue location) earns 1 token for Booksin.  The school with the most tokens wins $500! How to participate: Each time you visit Jamba Juice to order your favorite smoothie or snack, tell them you are with Booksin to make sure our school gets credit.
