🧥 Monday, 10/28-Friday, 11/1- Warm Coat Drive
Girl Scout Brownie Troop 60433 is holding a coat drive to support the One Warm Coat Project, which provides free coats to children and adults in need. Please bring clean, new or gently used coats to the bin outside the office. Coats will be collected until 11/1, and all coats collected will be distributed locally.
🎃 Thursday, 10/31 - Halloween Parade @8:45am
Come watch students and staff in Booksin’s annual Halloween parade in the Spirit Court.
🍭Friday, 11/1 - Wednesday, 11/6 - Candy & Toothbrush Drive
BESCA has teamed up with Booksin's Student Council to host a leftover Halloween candy drive to support our troops through Operation Care and Comfort! We are also collecting new toothbrushes for Willow Glen Cares, which supports WG Middle and High School communities. See information below.
🌯 Tuesday, 11/5 and Wednesday, 11/6 - Dining Night Out at Asian Box
Booksin’s next Dining Night Out is on Tuesday, November 5 and Wednesday, November 6. On these days, anytime between 11am to 9pm, dine in or order online for take out at Asian Box in the Pruneyard, and the restaurant will donate 25% of your purchase price back to Booksin! Bingo Night returns to Booksin on Friday, November 8th! Join fellow Booksin families for games, tasty snacks, lively conversation, prizes and plenty of laughs. Tickets are $5 per person for one session:
- Session 1: 5:00 PM – 5:45 PM
- Session 2: 6:00 PM – 6:45 PM
We can’t make the magic happen without the support of our amazing volunteers! Please consider lending a hand by signing up for a shift. Sign up here to volunteer and help make this night unforgettable!
📔The Yearbook Needs Your Photos!
We all had fun adventures at the Walkathon, and now we would love to collect your favorite photos for the yearbook! Upload up to 5 photos maximum of your favorite images. Last year, we waded through hundreds of photos that were blurry, too small, or had many of the same students, and we’d love to streamline the process by only receiving your BEST photos from the event.
➡️ At this time, we’re looking for photos from Walkathon, Fall Movie Night and Spirit Days (College Day & Color Day). Pro Tip: It is best to upload photos from one event at a time because you can only choose one event folder at a time.

- 24 students went the extra mile (literally) with 20 miles – 🥏 LED Frisbee
- 72 students flew through 15 miles – 🐦 Stuffed Bird toy
- 86 students enjoyed every step of 14 miles – 🍦 Ice Cream
- 139 students crushed 12 miles – 🍬 Candy
- 218 students soared with 10 miles – 🪂 Parachuter toy
- 279 students powered through 8 miles – 🌭 Hot dog
- 363 students tackled 6 miles – 🥔 Chips
- 429 students hit 5 miles – 🔑 Booksin keychain
- 525 students reached 3 miles – 🧃 Cold drink
- 565 students warmed up with 1 mile – 🦋 Butterfly
A huge shoutout to every student who laced up and hit the track—whether you walked 1 mile or 20, your school spirit made this Walkathon a success!
