“In addition to our usual content, a senior district leader will join us to provide an overview of the Schools of Tomorrow initiative. Schools of Tomorrow is a collaborative, proactive process focused on how to continue to provide every child with an elementary school experience that prepares them to be the thinkers, leaders, and creators of tomorrow. This process may include reducing the number of elementary schools, re-aligning attendance boundaries, and/or the relocation of special programs with the goal of better serving students and staff. San José Unified recognizes the weight of these potential changes and is committed to a transparent process, including meetings like this one. This will be an opportunity to engage in a dialogue about Schools of Tomorrow with a senior leader from the district.
