The purpose of this group is to communicate with parents of students involved in the winter/spring theater production. 

• Auditions are open to all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students.
• An audition is required to participate and all auditioning students will be included in either Cast A or Cast B.
• Participants must turn in a hardcopy signed permission slip on the first day of rehearsal (Jan 8). 
• There is a suggested donation of $75-$100 per student participant.
• Attendance is crucial. Students may miss no more than 2  general rehearsals and must attend all Tech Rehearsals and Show Dates.

Auditions by appointment: 

• Monday, Dec 16 & Tuesday, Dec 17, from 2:10-4:40pm.
• Callbacks: Wed, Dec 18th

Rehearsal Schedule: 

• Every Wednesday afternoon from 2:10-4:30pm  (Lead roles may also meet on select Fridays after school as needed) 
• Dates: Jan 8, 15, 22, 29; Feb 5, 12, 26 (no rehearsal Feb 19); Mar 5, 12, 19
• Location: Booksin Cafeteria

Mandatory Dress & Tech Rehearsal Dates:

• Sunday, March 23 - 2:10-6:30pm
• Monday, March 24 - 2:10-6:30pm - Cast A only
• Wednesday, March 26 - 2:10-6:30pm - Cast B only

Mandatory Show Dates:

• Thurs, March 27 - 6:00-7:30pm (Students arrive at 5:15pm) - Cast A only
• Sat, March 29 - 6:00-7:30pm (Students arrive at 5:15pm) - Cast B only
• Sun, March 30 -  12:00-1:30pm (Students arrive at 11:15am) - Cast A only
• Sun, March 30 - 4:00-5:30pm (Students arrive at 3:15pm) - Cast B only

In-School Show Dates (No parents, for Booksin students only):

• Mon, March 24th at 8:30am - Cast B only
• Thurs, March 27th at 8:30am - Cast A only

At the first rehearsal on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, each participant must bring a hardcopy signed permission slip (provided after the cast list is posted) along with a suggested donation of $75-$100 per student participant. Payments can be made by cash or check (payable to BESCA). 🎭 Community theater programs typically cost around $475-$600 per child and we are incredibly grateful for Ms. Hilary, our Director, and our parent volunteers who generously donate their time to make this production as affordable as possible. While BESCA partially sponsors the program to cover essential expenses like facility and licensing fees, participant donations are still needed to fund essentials like costumes, props, stage equipment, a cast party, and more. Please note that all 3rd-5th grade students are welcome, regardless of their ability to contribute financially.
