Bradoaks PTA Welcomes You
PTA is excited to welcome all of our students – new/returning, parents, & staff back for an amazing year of learning, growing, and working together! Our goal is to ensure that our kids here at Bradoaks have the resources & support needed to reach their highest potential! Bradoaks PTA is dedicated to supporting educational success at Bradoaks Elementary. As the PTA at Bradoaks, we have achieved this goal in the past by creating, planning and/or participating in events/programs like the Fall Festival, New Parent Welcome, Red Ribbon Week, Yearbook, Kindness Week, Book Fairs, Family Dance, Bingo Nights, Movie Night, Monrovia Holiday Parade, Founders Day, Watch D.O.G.S Program, Garden Club, Staff/Teacher Appreciation, Monrovia Days Parade, Fundraisers, etc. PTA is also responsible for assisting with and at times paying for the entire costs of enrichment programs like AR (Accelerated Reader) Reading Program, Assemblies, field trips for each grade level and Student Achievement Celebrations. We hope to do this all again this year. The vital key to continue these programs and do more is determined by the amount of participation we get from our parents & staff for events and fundraisers. Our goal is 100% participation. We will keep you informed through Konstella, phone blasts, and fliers in your weekly green folders of the different ways you can help. Thank you in advance!
Here on KONSTELLA, you can have access to the school calendar, upcoming dates of fundraisers/events, the ability to sign up to volunteer at events, communicate with other parents in your students class, upload pictures for yearbook and much more! You can also learn all that is discussed at PTA meetings from the minutes that will be uploaded here. To kick-off our 2019-20 PTA membership drive, we would like you to join us in making our school goal of 75%! Additionally, the class with the most PTA memberships from grades K-2 and 3-5 will receive a pizza party. To join the PTA simply fill out the attached form and return it in your child’s green folder or turn into the office. You will receive a membership card that can be used for discounts & special offers (see www.CAPTA.org for more info) Membership is just $9 per person. Moms, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, other family members, and friends can also join the PTA!
Join us for our next PTA meeting on Monday, September 9th at 6:30-7:30pm in Room 21. PTA meetings will be held the 1st Monday of every month at 6:30pm. If there is no school on the 1st Monday of the month, we will have the meeting the following Monday. Looking forward to an incredible year!
