-Parents/caregivers interested in participating can record themselves reading a favorite children's book and send it to their room parent for submission to teachers
-Teachers will be able to count time spent listening to the stories toward the students' reading goals for the read-a-thon

CELEBRATE BRAEBURN 2023: Multicultural Night & Beyond

We are thrilled to celebrate Braeburn and our amazing community on Wednesday, March 15th, from 6:30-8pm.

Braeburn School began celebrating our community and its many cultures six years ago in 2017 with International Night, which was then renamed Multicultural Night the following year. This will be the fifth year we are celebrating all that makes our Braeburn community unique -- extra special since it has been three years since our last celebration!

CELEBRATE BRAEBURN 2023: Multicultural Night & Beyond continues this tradition! We invite families to share about different celebrations, traditions, or other special occasions in your homes. Over the years, there were booths showcasing a Quinceañera, a Filipino-American wedding, Gotcha Day (a celebration of adoption), Memorial/Veterans'/Armed Forces Days, and U.S. Independence Day. Organizations are also welcome, illuminating the many ways in which diversity exists and is supported in our Braeburn community! In the past, SEPTO, 4H, Scouts and Girl Scouts have joined us.
