WH Parent Community Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (West Hartford EDI) and WHPS/One Community for Equity are hosting a back-to-school celebration on Sunday, October 29th, 2-4pm at Whiting Lane Elementary, promising an unforgettable afternoon filled with games, a lively DJ, and delicious food from BIPOC-owned local establishments. New!!  Winter Is Coming!  Cold Weather Clothing Drive October 22 - November 5!

Please consider sponsoring the purchase of winter clothing for Braeburn students in need!  Click HERE  to donate money directly to PTB who coordinates outreach through school social worker Marisa DiGiacomo. 

Our goal is to outfit each student with a winter coat, snow pants, boots, gloves, hat and a Braeburn hoodie.  Not sure how much to donate?  Based on target.com here are some suggested guidelines:

• Winter Coat - $60
• Snow Pants - $35
• Winter Boots - $40
• Winter Hat - $15
• Winter Gloves - $15
