Important: Proposed Board of Education budget feedback sessions
Thu, Mar 13 10:07am
Join us for a community conversation on the Fiscal Year 2026 budget, which includes municipal and education services.

The Board of Education budget proposal includes changes to class size and staffing, which (as proposed) will directly affect Braeburn students. PLEASE review the links below for details.

These community conversations are the best place to provide input on the budget, even more effectively than attending a Board of Ed meeting, because town leadership, including the town manager are present at these community conversations.

Sessions will be held on Monday, March 31, at 8:45 AM at the Faxon Branch Library, 1073 New Britain Ave., and at 6:00 PM at the Noah Webster Library, 20 South Main St.

Public officials, including Mayor Shari Cantor, Deputy Mayor Ben Wenograd, Board of Education Chair Dr. Lorna Thomas-Farquharson, and Vice Chair Shannon Marimón, will respond to questions.
