If you haven't already, there's still time to register for Tomorrow's workshop
Breakthrough families have provided a wonderful outpouring of support for our school and community this year. As the SHA president, I thank you!
Unfortunately, we won't have an end of the school picnic this year and aren't able to meet in person. I'm sad about that, but very excited about this opportunity to support you.
For our final SHA meeting we are hosting a Positive Discipline Workshop for all breakthrough families. The workshop will be facilitated by a certified Montessori teacher and Positive Discipline trainer.
In this challenging time we could all use some support. This workshop is designed to empower children to manage themselves through Positive Discipline.
Using experiential activities and group discussions to see from a child’s perspective, this session will cover several tools for engaging with children while being simultaneously kind and firm. You'll learn how to use “The Mistaken Goal Chart” to become a “behavior detective” in troublesome moments.
The Workshop will be held on Zoom, June 11th, from 8:00-10:00 pm. I know it's late in the evening. That's on purpose, in hopes that more parents can attend after the kids are in bed. If you aren't able to join us live, we will make the recording available, for all who register, to watch anytime during the following week.
