Hello Breakthrough families,
We’re gearing up for Breakthrough's Second Annual Scholastic Book Fair! Hosted by our School Home Association (SHA) in collaboration with our teachers and staff, this event is an opportunity for students of all ages to build their home libraries and further their love of reading.
The Book Fair will take place in two parts:
- April 24-28: Student In-Class Shopping
- April 29 from 9am-3pm: Family Book Fair & Literacy Fest
You can contribute to SHA’s book-for-every-child fund by adding money to the SHA’s Scholastic eWallet (electronic account). We hope to raise enough funds, so that every child at Breakthrough can buy at least one book, so if you can afford to give more, please do. We estimate $10 per book/child. Donate here!
Want to contribute to the book fair in other ways? We have a handful of volunteer slots open during the week and for Saturday's Family Fun Day! (If you previously tried to sign up for a Saturday time slot and ran into an error message, this has been fixed. Thanks for your patience!)
