Good morning Breakthrough community,
As I'm sure you are all aware, this week is National Teacher Appreciation Week, a time to show our gratitude and love for our teaching teams.
The SHA wanted to share with you what we are doing for staff this week, as well as what Breakthrough Administration is planning.
- Monday staff were treated to breakfast from Call Your Mother.
- Tuesday, teaching teams are invited to view a special poster with notes from student in the staff lounge.
- Wednesday the SHA will send a video of students thanking their individual teaching teams, including guides, assistants, specials instructors and student support. We have also purchased mini succulent plants with a "Thanks for helping me grow" note from students and the SHA.
- Thursday staff will be treated to lunch
- And Friday, teaching teams will be given the hand-written thank you notes that you have been writing (at Ms. Ana's table) at drop off and pickup, along with printed photos of a handful of students sharing "What they love about..." their teachers.
Room parents in some classrooms may have organized additional gifts or displays of gratitude and thanks. While this is not required, we do encourage you to be creative and generous with your time to show your teaching teams how vital they are to your students' growth, development, and happiness.
All best,
SHA Executive Committee
