Back to the building

We will return to school in person January 10, 2022.

We are required to have all students and staff members wear mask and practice CDC guidelines. Please visit our https:// www.dekalbschoolsga.org/covid-19-health-and-safety/ for the most current information. The key is to keep your child's teacher informed in order to keep our entire BVE family safe. If you experience a Covid-19 Exposure or Covid-19 Positive Case, please report it to your child's teacher as soon as possible.

All students who have chrome books, must be responsible for taking them back to school with their chargers. We utilize in person and digital resources in our classrooms daily.

MASKS REQUIRED

Please, please have your child exit the bus or car with a MASK everyday.

Quick tip for families:
First, make sure your child knows why masks are important. Go over the rules every morning before school.

How to Properly Wear a Face Mask:
Wash your hands before and after touching the mask.
Touch only the bands or ties when putting on and taking off your mask.
Make sure the mask fits to cover your nose, mouth and chin.
Make sure you can breathe and talk comfortably through your mask.

We have been partners with La'Amistad for 6 years resulting in excellent academic success.

Car Riders

Morning Drop Off:
Please be sure to have your student(s) ready to exit the car on the right hand side for morning drop off. Ready means able to exit the vehicle with their backpack or supplies in hand with their mask on properly.
When you approach the drop off area, please go to the furthest end before stopping, this ensures space for everyone.
DO NOT PASS OTHER CARS unless you are directed by the staff.

Early Dismissal:
Must be before 1:30 pm. You are to park in an actual space, and walk up to the front door.

Afternoon pick up:
Dismissal is at 2pm, should you arrive early, pull up into the lower parking lot in an orderly line. If you see there is a space between vehicles, do NOT cut the line and pull in. Each vehicle number is record for pick up and the children are dismissed in order.  DO NOT PASS OTHER CARS.
