A Message from Principal Neill:
Greetings BVE Family and Friends,
Our International Night was a HUGE SUCCESS! I am so proud of our International Committee for the fantastic night they put together. The doors were beautifully decorated with artifacts and information about various countries, many of which are represented by our family members from Briar Vista. The dances, performances, decorations, food trucks and passports were amazing! Thank you so much for your involvement and participation in the first International Night we were able to have in three years! Please make sure you scroll all the way down to see some pictures! We also celebrated Bus Appreciation Week for our bus drivers; thank you for helping them feel special!!! Finally, our week ended with all Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students attending the Yule Pumpkin patch and our very own PTO providing a Pumpkin Patch for our families on Friday. Oh, what a great week it has been!!!
Next week, Briar Vista will participate in Red Ribbon Week and National Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week. Your child will go home each day with ideas that will give you a chance to talk with them concerning healthy choices and awareness. See the schedule next week for dress participation for each day. This is the week before Halloween with different views on participation. We ask that our students remain calm and make positive choices in behaviors surrounding safety, and emotionally.

Red Ribbon Week
Join us as we celebrate Red Ribbon Week. This year's theme is Celebrate Life. Live Drug-Free (TM). The theme is a call to action to speak out in support of healthy choices. It also serves as a reminder that we are all empowered with shaping the communities around us through positivity, bravery, and strength. See the attached flyer for the week's activities.
- Monday 10/24 - Rally in Red - Wear Red to show you are drug-free
- Tuesday 10/25 - Put a CAP on Drugs/Bullying - Wear your favorite crazy cap
- Wednesday 10/26 - Our Future is Bright without Drugs/Bullying - Wear a College T-Shirt
- Thursday 10/27 - Orange You Glad we are a Bully Free Zone? - Wear Orange to show unity against Bullying
- Friday 10/28 - Being Drug/Bully -Free is no sweat for BVE - Wear Your Sweatpants to School
Fall Festival
Fall Festival is back! We're so excited to see you all on Friday, November 4th from 4:30 - 7:30 pm. We are having a cookout, games, glitter tattoos, face painting, prizes, and inflatables! We have some fantastic prizes for our raffle!
