Neill's Newsflash

Greetings Briar Vista Families and Friends,

Enjoy your long weekend celebrating Labor Day!!!
Tuesday will mark a day that you will need to review arrival and dismissal with your family. The key is to follow our procedures, we have many wonderful processes in place. This Newsflash will have lots of wonderful opportunities to get involved at Briar Vista. Please take a minute to review the events, we look forward to seeing your participation in your child's education.

PTO will be opening times for parents to sign up for Carpool with Friends twice a month to
help with traffic and getting students into the building safely. Please take time to sign up
and enjoy time with fellow Briar Vista Parents.
Parents, please try to have your children on time to school, 7:46 am is considered tardy. If your child is tardy, you will need to exit your car and sign them in. Children can enter the building at 7:00 am. Traffic in our area can be very challenging at times.

Have a wonderful LONG weekend! If you would like to contact me, feel free to email me at

Car Rider Information

Our carpool continues to improve! Thank you so much for your help with this!
Please remember during morning drop-off (at 7:05 am) to have your child unbuckled and ready to exit your car as your turn the corner approaching the front stairs. If your child is not ready to
be dismissed, please park and enjoy a great walk to the front door. It is important not to hold
other parents up in the carpool lane. Do not pass cars or parents in the carpool lane and be
mindful of parents walking their children to the front of campus.
Please drive slowly during carpooling when entering and exiting our driveway.

Carpool in the morning stops at 7:40 am and students are considered tardy at 7:46 am;
instruction begins at 7:45 am.
Afternoon PICK-UP starts at 2:15 and ends at 2:40 pm.
At 2:41 pm, your child will have to report to Aftercare and there will be a fee for each occasion.
Please DO NOT get out of your car. If you need to buckle your child in, please pull forward towards the parking spaces and do so. Getting out of your car impedes the flow of traffic and delays the dismissal process. Also, if at all possible, please allow your child to get in the car on the side closest to the curb.
