Thank you for coming out to the BEAM event!  

 

THANK YOU to all our amazing parents and volunteers who helped make this weekend's BEAM event a huge success!

A special shout out to our middle schoolers: Catherine Zhang, Eleanor Zhang, Nicholas Yorker, Jacob Grimes, Penelope Naidich, and Daiwen Guo. Thank you to our wonderful parents: Chad Kurland, Hui Wu, Dan Feng Mei, Jordan Carlos, Danhe and Shumin Ma, Chika Kahn, Paul Hirschorn, Karen Chin, Betty Cheng and our parent coordinator Betsy Diaz (who watched over the check-in desk with Jerry Calixto ALL DAY), and we had Ms. Q there too! And of course a huge thanks to Brett and the BEAM Team for leading us through such great activities!

BEAM has worked with BSI students over the years to provide hands-on experiential learning. It is one of the many enrichments supported by your generous donations to the BSI Student Enrichment Fund. 

PLEASE DONATE TODAY to continue offering BEAM, Chess, Music, Robotics, Teacher's Assistants, Band, Science supplies, Art supplies and so much more to our kids!
 
The historical cost of annual enrichments is $1200 per student - which is only $6.67 per day for the 180-day school year. Give what you can - we need the support of all our BSI families!

Our last PTO meeting before the spring break will be held on Thursday, April 18th from 7 pm-8:30 pm on Zoom. Want to make a difference in our school community? Join the PTO board! You can nominate yourself by filling out this nomination form. Grab a fellow BSI parent and nominate yourselves as a team! Elections for next year's board will be held at our May PTO meeting!

And yes, you heard right, Spring Break is upon us Monday, April 22nd through Tuesday, April 30th. We'll see you back at school bright and early on Wednesday, May 1st.

And when we get back we have more fun events planned!

Join us on Monday, May 13th for BSI Spirit Night at Urban Air Brooklyn at 4422 Second Avenue from 5 - 7 pm.

Kids and families can enjoy 2 hours of Platinum Attractions for $40/person. Time starts when you arrive so come at 5 pm, 6:55 pm or anywhere in between and you'll still get 2 hours of jump time. 20% of the proceeds will go to BSI. Those funky Urban Air socks are included!

You must mention BSI Spirit Night at the front desk at time of purchase.
