Volunteer for BSI’s Biggest Event of the Year – Our Fundraising Gala!

Our annual Fundraising Party — otherwise known as the BSI Gala — is just around the corner (June1), and we need your help to make it a success! This important event raises critical funds that support important programs and resources for our students.

We are looking for enthusiastic parent volunteers to help solicit donations from local businesses and community partners for our auction. As a donations volunteer, you will reach out to businesses and organizations, explain the importance of supporting our school, and request items, discounted services, or other experiences to be donated for the fundraiser's raffle and auction. Volunteering is a great way to get involved with the school community while also helping to provide educational enrichment for our children. We welcome volunteers at any level of commitment — whether you can take on just a handful of businesses or a larger outreach effort — but we are asking volunteers to take on a minimum of five vendors to contact for donations.

We will be happy to hold an orientation session for donation volunteers on Zoom to explain the process and answer your questions!

We will provide materials, tips for successful solicitation, a list of potential businesses to contact, and other resources to help make your effort a success.
