Dear Brookvale Families,
December is the season for celebration, and we have more things to celebrate this year: to celebrate our families being together during all the ups and downs of 2020, to celebrate the incredibly hardworking teachers as well as parents; moreover, to celebrate the resilience of our young children.
For this holiday season, we’ve selected several fun family activities.
From comic Gingerbread Men, to elegant Linzer Tarts, to soft Snickerdoodles. All so good yet not difficult to make. The mini videos make every step clear. And don’t forget to try Russian Tea Cakes with 6 ingredients and 3 steps. Success guaranteed!

Lots of scraps of beautiful holiday wrapping paper? Save them! Let’s turn them into stars. Send in the picture of your stars and share your new year wishes.

Watch the Nutcracker
We are not able to go watch the Nutcracker in theaters this holiday. However, many famous ballet companies provide the streaming service for free or a fee.
For the free version, we would like to recommend the Boston Ballet for its captivating narrator and thoughtful screen adaptation. In short, it has the young audience in mind. You just need to enter your email address and then watch at your convenience. Check this out.
Classical ballet is not your kid’s cup of tea? No worries. How about Hip Hop Nutcracker? The preview looks awesome. Only $25 for the entire family. It’s a good deal and for a good cause.
