Press Release: Brookvale Media - Celebrating a Remarkable Season

Brookvale Elementary School proudly celebrates an extraordinary season by its Brookvale Media students. We are incredibly proud of these students—they have been truly remarkable. Their dedication, creativity, and professionalism were evident in every project, as they consistently performed at the highest level and delivered work that exceeded expectations in both quality and impact.

This season, students not only produced more than 50 original videos, but did so while overcoming significant real-world challenges. They navigated software glitches, hardware failures—including the loss of their primary camera—and adapted with flexibility, skill, and perseverance. Students successfully transitioned to new workflows involving complex software and meticulous production demands, demonstrating resilience and problem-solving that sets them apart.

In addition to video production, students also took full responsibility for maintaining and updating their website. The site features summer activity ideas, book recommendations, games, polls, and more—extending their creativity and service beyond the school year. Students have also been hard at work on an exciting long-form project in honor of America 250. This includes a special Independence Day: America at 250 episode, as well as an upcoming 8-part series titled America 250, highlighting their ability to take on ambitious, meaningful storytelling projects.

We extend our sincere thanks to our dedicated teachers, supportive families, and PTA for their continued encouragement and partnership. Brookvale Media students work incredibly hard each week to prepare and produce these episodes, and their remarkable achievements this season reflect not only their talent, but their perseverance, teamwork, and commitment to excellence.
