Children's Mental Health Awareness Art Competition and Exhibition

The City of Fremont, through the Youth and Family Services (YFS) Department, has announced the fourth annual Children's Mental Health Awareness Art Competition and Exhibition. This event celebrates National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day which falls on Thursday, May 6th 2021. The virtual student art contest theme for this year is “Coming Together with Hope.” 

There are two age brackets for the contest. One is for elementary students in K-5th grades; and the other one is for students in 6th–12th grades. Students living in Fremont or attending FUSD schools are encouraged to submit art, photographs, poetry, and digital work including spoken word performance, podcasts and short films. Submissions for all entries should be photographed and emailed on or before 12:00pm, on Sunday, April 4, 2021.

Winners will be announced on May 6, 2021, and a virtual art exhibition event will be held in May. More information is also available at the YFS website.
