Hello Families!

Counselors from the Fremont Unified School District will be presenting a workshop regarding Transition to Middle School.

Please see the attached flyer for our upcoming parent presentation on the Transition to Middle School hosted by the American attendance area counselors! It will be held on Thursday, May 18th at 5 PM via Zoom. This workshop is ideal for parents with a child in Middle School for the first time. It goes over the basics like- 

 

  • Schedule Differences
  • Routine Changes
  • Types of Classes
 

This presentation is not to provide information on registration or the policies set by Thornton Middle but on the social-emotional student impact of transitioning from elementary to middle school. Parents will also be able to express some of their concerns about their students starting middle school. Hope to see you all there!
