This instruction-based chess program is offered for grades K through 5, beginners welcome. The NEW program format includes:

(1) Group instruction on game rules, strategy and etiquette. New lessons for winter session!
(2) Over-the-board one-on-one instruction.
(3) Home assignments for voluntary subject reinforcements.
(4) Online activities and workbook support recommendations. NEW!
(5) Possibly in-class paired casual and RATED group play. NEW!

Program meetings for this 4-week session will be from 5:30 to 6:30 PM on Tuesdays: Feb 25, Mar 11, 18, 25. There is NO CLASS on Mar 4.
