Bugbee Chess Program

This instruction-focused chess program is offered for student grades K-5, beginners welcome. The class includes: Group instruction on game rules, strategy and etiquette. Over-the-board one-on-one and two-on-one instruction. Home assignments for subject reinforcements. Online activities and workbook support recommendations. In-class paired casual and rated group play. (A post-session tournament together with other schools’ groups will be offered as a reinforcement and skill check after the session, typically on a Wednesday evening.) 

Grades: K-5 (no prior experience necessary!)
6 weeks on Thursdays after school: 9/18, 9/25, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30 (no class 10/2)
Registration Deadline: Sep 17
