Share your heritage and traditions with the Bugbee community on Thursday, March 14!
Help us make this event a success by signing up below.
We've provided a list of countries we have seen in the past, but please add one you don't see or a family tradition you'd like to share (scroll to the bottom).
Ways you and your student(s) can participate:
Food: Share a family recipe, food from your country of origin or just something special about where you were raised. Bring as little or as much as you would like. Cook it yourself, order from your favorite restaurant or even ask for a donation! We will share together in the 'CAFE INTERNATIONAL' in the Bugbee cafeteria.
Booth: Prepare a simple informational poster or include a special activity for the Bugbee community to participate in. Join us on February 27 for a community night at Bugbee where you can work on your poster/booth materials. We will have materials to share if you need them! While you build your booth, please consider integrating our word of the year "BELONGS".
Activity: Share a sport or activity that is special to your family, community, traditions or country of origin. The Bugbee gym will be alive with international spirit!
Please help us keep this event moving forward - sign up for a country or add your tradition to the Konstella form by JANUARY 24! We will send out a few reminders and once we've collected names for each country/tradition we will connect families. If more than one family signs up for a country/tradition we may encourage you to partner together .
