Support Bugbee Teachers! Conference Week Teacher Luncheon, Snacks, and TGIF Treats
Bugbee Elementary School

Hi Bugbee Families!

Please consider donating to the Teacher Breakfast on Friday, 3/8!

Popular teacher treats that we'd love to fill include:

  • Dunkin' Donuts Box of Coffee
  • Dunkin' Donuts Box of Hot Chocolate
  • Bagels
  • Oatmeal and toppings
  • Hard Boiled Eggs
  • Fruit Salad

We hope everyone had an adventure-filled February break. As we approach spring conference week (Monday, March 4th-Friday, March 8th), we are feeling especially grateful for everyone at Bugbee who supports our kids as they investigate the world around them!

In our typical Bugbee tradition, we are organizing snacks, a luncheon, and "TGIF Treats" for our wonderful teachers and staff during the odyssey that is conference week, to thank them for always going the extra mile; we need your help to make this a success!

Because we've never been afraid to embrace a theme, we are upping the ante and combining two! In a nod to the upcoming "Bugbee Belongs" event, we are asking Bugbee families to please share favorite soups from your heritage. This will allow us to create a diverse and delicious spread that explores the rich tapestry of our school community. Your culinary contributions will make this week truly memorable. Thank you, in advance, for adding a personal touch to our shared experience!

There are several ways to participate:

  1. Provide some snacks/treats to keep the teachers sustained throughout the week.
  2. Pick an item from the list below to prepare or purchase for the luncheon on Tuesday, March 5th.
  3. Volunteer to help with set up or clean up for the luncheon on Tuesday, March 5th.
  4. Provide a homemade or store-bought dessert or breakfast item listed below for our TGIF Treats event on Friday, March 8th.

If you are able to contribute, please sign up for one of the suggested items below.

Item Drop-off Info:

  • SNACKS/BEVERAGES:  Individually packaged snacks, bars, beverages etc. can be dropped off in the Bugbee office on Monday, March 4th.
  • ITEMS FOR THE LUNCHEON:
    • Perishable items can be dropped off in the office between 8:00-8:30am on Tuesday, March 5th.  ***Please reach out to us if you need to work out an alternate drop-off time.
    • Non-perishable items may be dropped off in the office on, or any time before, March 5th at 8:30am
    • Please be sure to label any serving dishes that you need returned.
    • If your food item requires a serving utensil, it would be awesome if you could please provide that as well (please email one of us if you need us to supply that utensil!).
    • Finally, please provide your item in a bowl/tray/etc. from which the food can be served (i.e., if we can avoid scrambling for serving pieces last minute, we would appreciate it!)
  • TGIF TREATS: Non-perishable treats can be dropped off any time during the week, but by Friday, March 8th at 8:30 am at the latest (please label the items to indicate that they are for Friday).  Perishable items should come in Friday morning before 8:30 am.

Thank you for signing up to help and keeping our teachers and staff well-fed during their conference week journey!

 Warmly,

Pam Borer (psborer@gmail.com), Stacey Mayer (samayer3@yahoo.com), Angie Pierandri  (apierandri@gmail.com), and Erin Vincent (erinmichelebrady@gmail.com)
