Hi Bugbee Families,
We hope that the school year has been off to a great start for everyone! With the calendar now turning to November, we find ourselves approaching the first round of teacher conferences this year. Fall Conference Week is Monday, November 18th-Friday, November 22nd. In Bugbee tradition, we are organizing snacks, a luncheon, and a "TGIF Treats" event for our wonderful Bugbee teachers and staff. We would love your help to make it a success! We are creating a menu that will feature some fall favorites, including hearty soups, warm apple cider and seasonally themed fall desserts, as well as many of our staff's favorite items. If you are able, please consider signing up to provide one of the items listed below!
There are several ways to participate:
- Provide some snacks or treats to keep the teachers sustained throughout the week.
- Pick an item from the list below to prepare or purchase for the luncheon on Tuesday, November 19th.
- Provide a homemade or store-bought dessert item listed below for our TGIF Treats event on Friday, November 22nd.
- Volunteer to assist with set up or clean up for the Tuesday luncheon or Friday breakfast.
Additional Item Drop-off Info:
- SNACKS: Please drop off packaged snacks, bars, drinks, grab and go fruit to the Bugbee main office on Monday, November 18th.
- ITEMS FOR THE LUNCHEON:
- Items can be dropped off in the Bugbee School office Tuesday, November 19th - anytime between 8:00-9:30am is great. Please feel free to reach out if you need to arrange an alternate drop off time.
- Please be sure to label any serving dishes that you need returned.
- If your food item requires a serving utensil, it would be awesome if you could provide that as well (or you can email one of us if you need us to supply that utensil!).
- Finally, please provide your item in a bowl or tray from which the food can be served (i.e. if we can avoid scrambling for serving pieces last minute, we would appreciate it!)
- TGIF TREATS: Non-perishable treats can be dropped off any time during the week, and perishable treats/coffee can be brought in on Friday, November 22nd between 8:00-8:30am. Thank you!
Thank you to everyone in advance for your help in keeping our teachers and staff well-fed during conferences! Feel free to reach out with any additional questions or concerns!
Warmly,
Stacey Mayer (samayer3@yahoo.com)
