Hi Bugbee Families!
It's hard to believe that we are already in the 3rd quarter of this school year, and approaching the second round of teacher conferences. Bugbee Spring conference week is Monday, March 6th-Friday, March 10th. In our typical Bugbee tradition, we are organizing snacks, a luncheon, and a "TGIF Treats" event for our wonderful Bugbee teachers and staff, and we need your help to make it a success! Our theme this time around is "March Madness" - a not-so-subtle nod to both the NCAA Tournament this month, and Mrs. Brouse's year-long team/sports theme (and also because, well, conference week is definitely madness for teachers and families alike!).
There are several ways to participate:
- Provide some snacks/treats to keep the teachers sustained throughout the week.
- Pick an item from the list below to prepare or purchase for the March Madness "Game Day Food" luncheon on Tuesday, March 7th.
- Assist with the set up or clean up for the luncheon on Tuesday, March 7th.
- Provide a homemade or store-bought dessert or breakfast item listed below for our TGIF Treats event on Friday, March 10th.
If you are able to contribute, please sign up for one of the suggested items below.
Item Drop-off Info:
- SNACKS/BEVERAGES: Individually packaged snacks/bars/beverages etc. can be dropped off in the Bugbee office on Monday, March 6th.
- ITEMS FOR THE LUNCHEON:
- Perishable items can be dropped off in the Bugbee School office between 8:00-8:30am on Tuesday, March 7th. ***Please reach out to Pam or Stacey if you need to work out an alternate drop-off time.
- Non-perishable items may be dropped off in the office on, or any time before, March 7th at 8:30am.
- Please be sure to label any serving dishes that you need returned.
- If your food item requires a serving utensil, it would be awesome if you could please provide that as well (please email one of us if you need us to supply that utensil!).
- Finally, please provide your item in a bowl/tray/etc. from which the food can be served (i.e., if we can avoid scrambling for serving pieces last minute, we would appreciate it!)
- TGIF TREATS: Non-perishable treats can be dropped off any time during the week, but by Friday, March 10th at 9:30am at the latest (please label the items to indicate that they are for Friday). Perishable items should come in Friday morning before 9:30 am.
Thanks in advance for signing up to help and keeping our teachers and staff well-fed during conferences - go team!
Warmly,
Pam Borer (psborer@gmail.com) and Stacey Mayer (samayer3@yahoo.com)
