Thank you for doing your part to keep us all as healthy as possible.
Thank you for doing your part to keep us all as healthy as possible.
* If in doubt on whether or not to send your child ask yourself, "if this wasn't my child, how would I feel if this child were at school?"
* Ask for a sub earlier rather than later. It can be really helpful to say we "might" need a sub if you're not sure. If we don't have the minimum number of co-opers in a class, then class will be canceled, so planning ahead is really helpful. Please help another family when you are able to do so.
* If your child needs medication, they are probably not well enough to be at school. Ask a teacher if you're not sure.
They may return to campus after being fever-free without medication and if all other symptoms are improving for at least 24 hours.
Please see the reminders below regarding illness and minimizing germs at school. This information is from the Parent Handbook and BHPPNS 2025-2026 Emergency Response Plan.
Helpful Tips
* Clean, Clean, Clean!
-
Please wash all hands thoroughly. Singing the alphabet song while washing is the approximate amount of time needed for a thorough hand washing.
-
Spray down all toys and surfaces, every day. If a child puts a toy in their mouth, immediately put it in the sink or "mouthed toys" bin.
-
Thoroughly read your job tag for the areas you are responsible for that day.
Symptoms of Illness and Preventative Measures
Please refer to your handbook regarding illness policies. Also, take into consideration that members and their families experiencing symptoms consistent with viruses including, but not limited to, fever, sore/itchy throat, body aches, loss of smell or taste, cough, runny nose, vomiting, or loss of appetite will not be permitted on the school premises. If a child develops these symptoms while at school, you will be contacted and required to return to school to bring your child home. We understand that some symptoms may be present and are not related to a virus. If this pertains to your family, please contact the director.

If you are ill, COVID/influenza positive or not, please stay home.
Direct Exposure to COVID

Face masks are required if a participating adult or student is on campus for the next five days.
