CLIPCO August 20th Meeting Highlights

✅ Great Start to the School Year

• 6th graders met web-leaders; 8th graders helping them settle in.

• First dance this Friday!

• Back-to-School Night: Sept 18 – all families welcome.

✅ Budget & Financial Updates

• $907K in reserves; goal is to invest for growth and maintain 1-year reserve.

• FY24-25 ended strong: +10% more revenue, 8% less spending than projected.

• Big expenses: Instructional Aides ($350K), Teacher support ($300K), Recess 101, Librarian hours.

✅ Annual Donation Goal: $800K

• APS Survey & DGC Soft Launch: Aug 29

• Donation Campaign: Launches Oct 3

• Incentives: Fire Horse T-shirt for all students if goal met; pizza party for top class!

✅ Upcoming Events & Opportunities

• Mid-Autumn Festival: Oct 3 – volunteers needed.

• Open roles: ASEP lead, CNY Parade Chair, Events Lead.
