CLIPCO February Meeting Highlights
π Community Events
Lunar New Year Celebration was a wonderful success for the third year in a row!

Lion dances and percussion performances were held at both Muir and Miller.

A Lunar New Year singing assembly kicked off the celebrations.

Students helped run games and activity booths, and families enjoyed the festivities together.

Every student received a red envelope, and the event included a silent auction with many generous donors.

Thank you to Kevin Lu for sponsoring the celebration!

All event communications were translated into Chinese this year, helping more families stay informed.
π« School Updates

Student clubs launched, with students presenting proposals to receive small grants from CLIPCO to support their activities.

Schools hosted over 100 parents at a recent information session and welcomed visiting educators from Shenzhen and other districts to observe the program.

A new “Golden Ticket” program was introduced to recognize students who demonstrate positive behavior across campus.

Students recently completed the second round of NWEA testing.
π CLIPCO Website
Work continued on a new CLIPCO website, with improved organization and easier access to program information and upcoming events. The site is expected to launch in March.
π Community Participation
CLIP families were encouraged to participate in the CEEF 5K Run as part of Team Muir CLIP Huskies, helping support education grants for teachers across the district.
π° Financial Update
CLIPCO reported strong finances this year, continuing to support teacher grants, program activities, and community events across the program.
π Next CLIPCO Meeting
The next CLIPCO meeting will be held in March. All parents are welcome to attend and learn more about upcoming programs and ways to get involved.
