CLIPCO September 10th Meeting Highlights

✅ School Updates

  • Both Muir and Miller are off to a strong start this year.

  • First assessments underway.

  • Miller’s Back-to-School Bash: Sept 18 (CLIPCO booth 5–7pm).

✅ Finance Snapshot

  • Year-to-date: $18K income vs. $64K expenses (net –$46K).

  • $36K in pending company matches + $10K anonymous pledge for 5th grade.

  • Main expense: $62K for Recess 101.

✅ Key Votes

  • Approved middle school license fees ($5,265) for Chinese Reader & MOTE software.

✅ Community Updates

  • Girl Scouts Troop 62748 installed crosswalk safety flags near schools. Two kits still available for high-need intersections.

  • APS Survey: 22% complete – please fill out!

  • Donation Goal Campaign (DGC): underway – support helps fund teachers, aides, and programs.

✅ Upcoming Events

  • Mid-Autumn Festival: Oct 3 – booths, sponsors & volunteers needed.

  • XLB Kitchen Fundraiser coming soon.

  • Ongoing: Help needed with CLIP website.
